Types of Cinema
A movie, also known as a movie theater or motion picture, is an artistic work of visual art designed to simulate real experiences, stories, senses, emotions, beauty, or the environment through the use of pictures. Cinema is one of the most popular forms of entertainment in the world, seen in movies, on television shows, and in video games. A movie plot can be very complex with lots of scenes, time periods, and events, while a free movie download will typically only have a storyboard and a few still photos. <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->ดู หนัง ออนไลน์
The term 'movie' comes from the French word 'mouve' which means 'foot-driven' - it refers to a cinema that shows mainly first-run films. Most of the theaters in the United States have been built with the advent of new technology that allows projection of motion pictures using an array of projectors. This technology has greatly increased the quality and quantity of films available for viewing and has enabled theatres to show a wider variety of films to more people than ever before.
During the summertime, movie theaters are highly advertised in local newspapers, billboards, magazines, and television news programs. Movie release dates are widely advertised on TV and in numerous magazines. Many movies theaters feature separate screening areas for kids and adults, with single or double seating areas designated for each age group. Most major metropolitan areas have multiple movie houses that show a wide variety of recent releases and popular films on a regular basis.
Movie theaters are a highly profitable business, with ticket sales averaging over two million dollars per theater per week. Most of this money is generated during the summer months, which is usually the most crowded time of the year. Summer movies for both the general public and the lucky few who get tickets for a theater's early bird special can be found in just about every neighborhood. The number of titles opening nationwide in August and September increases dramatically. The majority of movies are either released in September or begin running in October. Public interest in late summer films such as "Harry Potter" and" Indiana Jones" has also increased the number of theatres offering wide release movies in these months.
To increase revenues and profitability, most movie theaters offer various specials, such as weekend passes, on the first day of every month, and extended weekend and holiday shows. Several companies provide customers with a convenient online option that gives them access to thousands of movies. Through this technological innovation, viewers no longer need to physically travel to a video house in order to enjoy a selection of recent releases.
A vast array of modern conveniences have contributed to the rise of the movie theater. Advances in lighting and sound equipment have improved the quality of picture and sound produced by contemporary movies. Viewers no longer need to stand in line to purchase a movie ticket. Most major metropolitan areas now have a wide variety of multiplex cinemas that show a variety of new and current films. Many of these theaters exhibit both movie titles and popular foreign films.
